I may have mentioned this already, when you live near Seattle, you get used to playing in all sorts of weather, so once again today, we sat in pouring and freezing temperatures – no exaggeration – last night it snowed and today we played a 9 am game. The only good thing about it, besides the fact that we won 11-1, was that they called the tournament after the first game due to rain. We’ll try again tomorrow. Wow are there a lot of social bookmarking sites! it’s hard to know which ones to join. I belong to several. Some of them allow you to make your own page, and I kind of like those. It’s a good way to meet other people with the same interests. But I’m just wondering if you can get spread too thin. It’s hard to keep all of them updated. Anyway, do you too find yourself joining too many of these social sites?

One of the reasons I decided to write this blog was to try to make contact with other moms who work at home. I am planning to compile an e-book on the experiences of women who used to work outside the home at a JOB who made the transition to work at home. If you share your story, a link to your site will be included in the book (or any other type of advertisement you’d prefer). I have a list of questions that won’t take much of your time, such as what you once did, and what you’re doing now; what made you decide to quit your job, etc. When I have enough stories to share I will put together an e-book for other moms trying to make the transition to work at home.

I love graphics, but alas, I am cursed. Just like I like to sing, and can’t carry a tune, neither do I have any artistic ability. So I appreciate even more those who do. I am always so amazed by the free graphics and photography you can find online. And I could spend my day just looking at it. Of course, we all know about Flickr and their wonderful photography. By the way, would someone tell me what type of digital camera to buy, please! Remember, I need something for an amateur, just point and click for taking pictures of my kids and pets, and something not too pricey.
